The News is Wearing on Me
It seems to be never-ending. A constant flow of 'news', most of it really scary and depressing. And nobody is really doing anything to deal with what's happening.
Yes, people are filing a ton of lawsuits, which may help in the long run, but as far as doing anything which gives me hope things will get better, there's nothing much happening.
I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. We expected this. Or something like this. But not the bizarre nature of the goings on. Having a bunch of kids running around playing with computer code is a really scary thing. It's not clear to me if they are making changes, but if they are, they are doing it without testing first.
Cutting off aid to people who really need it is just being cruel.
Tossing a million or so people out of where they have lived so you can build a fancy resort for rich people is just beyond comprehension.
I know. This is not all about me or my anxieties. But it's still depressing as hell. And I can't quite figure out what I can do to try and make things better.
So it goes.
