This is the new series by the authors of The Expanse. I thought I’d get both Kindle and Audible versions this time. I’m glad I did. The audio is by Jefferson Mays, who is excellent. I think this is one of those books where you can’t form an opinion until the serries is completed. This first book did set things up nicely. The characters were interesting and unique, the alien world and civilization were fascinating and weird. The plot advanced nicely and set things up for book 2. But I’m not going to award stars until I’ve read the next installment.
